মনসুর ভাই ঢাকার একটি বেসরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানে চাকরি করেন। বাড়ি সিলেটের টিলাগড়ে। মাস শেষে পরিবারের খরচ মেটাতেই আয়ের প্রায় সবটুকু শেষ হয়ে যায়। নিজের ইচ্ছা কিংবা শখ পূরণের সুযোগ খুব একটা হয় না।

কিন্তু একজন বাবা তো! বাড়ি ফেরার সময় একমাত্র মেয়ের জন্য একটু বাড়তি কেনাকাটা করতে মন চাইল তাঁর। মেয়েটার পছন্দের কিছু জিনিস কিনে দিলে যদি মুখে একটু হাসি ফোটে!

সেই ছোট্ট ইচ্ছাটুকু পূরণ করতেই তিনি আমাদের কাছ থেকে কিছু টাকা ধার নিয়েছিলেন, ফেরত দেবেন ধীরে ধীরে, নিজের সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী এই কথাও বলেছিলেন এবং উনি কথাও রেখেছেন। 

হয়তো  টাকার অঙ্কটা খুব বড় নয়, কিন্তু মনসুর ভাইয়ের কাছে এর মূল্য অনেক। কারণ এই টাকার সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে আছে একজন বাবার ভালোবাসা, মেয়ের ছোট্ট কিছু আবদার আর বাড়ি ফেরার পথে একটুখানি আনন্দ নিয়ে যাওয়ার গল্প।

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, Happiness সবসময় বড় কিছুতে থাকে না। কখনো কখনো একটি মেয়ের ছোট্ট উপহার পাওয়ার আনন্দেই লুকিয়ে থাকে একটি পরিবারের সুখ।

A Father's Love, A Daughter's Smile ❤️

Mansur Bhai works at a private company in Dhaka, while his home is in Tilagor, Sylhet. With a limited income and family expenses to manage, there is hardly anything left for personal wishes or extras.
